| TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF LET |

When you confirm a booking you enter into a
contract between you the visitor and us (George & Liz
Shorthouse) the owners. Please read the following conditions
of let fully.
1.
The letting period is from 15.00 hrs on the day of arrival
to 10.00 on the day of departure.
2. A
confirmed booking will be made on receipt of a completed
booking form and deposit to the value of 25% of the
total rental due. The remainder of the balance should
be paid six weeks prior to arrival. 3.
Cancellation of your booking within 28 days of arrival
will result in you being liable for the full cost of
the rental. If however we can re-let the cottage for
all or any portion of your cancelled period of rental
we shall be pleased to refund the applicable portion
minus your deposit. For all other cancellations made
out with the 28 day period your deposit (and any further
monies paid) will be refunded less a £50 administrative
fee.
4. Only
the person(s) named on the booking form may occupy the
cottage. Sub-letting of the property is strictly prohibited. 5.
The person(s) signing the booking form will be responsible
for ensuring that the conditions of let are adhered
to, and for losses or damage to the property and its
contents, allowing for fair wear and tear, however caused,
during the rental period.
6. The
property must be kept clean and in good condition and
all breakages reported immediately. 7.
The owners cannot accept responsibility for any personal
property belonging to visitors. All vehicles and property
are left at owner’s risk.
8. If
for any reason the property is not available to you
on the dates booked due to events out with our control
a full refund will be given. The owners will have no
further liability to the visitor or to any other party.
9.
We reserve the right to refuse to hand over the property
to anyone who, in our opinion, is not suitable to take
overall charge of the property. All payment will be
refunded without further liability. We also reserve
the right to terminate the contract at any time or to
remove person or persons due to unreasonable behaviour
or damage to the property. In such cases any refund
will be at the discretion of the owners.
10. The
property known as The Old Post Office Cottage, 10 Kirkmichael
Road, Moulin, Pitlochry is used for the purpose of a
holiday let to which section 12 (2) and paragraph 8
of Schedule 4 of the Housing Scotland Act 1988 apply.
The booking agreement confers the right to occupy the
cottage for the agreed rental period only. |
